Maria Miguel Oliveira da Silva is the speaker at the next SPEED session and she will analyse the topic of sustainability in Directive 2019/771, on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, emphasising the strengths and weaknesses of the choices made by the European legislator with regard to the promotion of sustainable consumption. She will provide some reflections on the transposition of the Directive into the Portuguese legal system, with some brief notes on Decree-Law No. 84/2021 of October 18.
